Every project starts with some type of foundation, and as a visual communicator I often begin projects with a mood-board. This can look a little different for every project because sometimes it’s to determine an entire brand’s tone, sometimes just a website, and or even one individual campaign. No matter what the project is, I start with a summary (sharing the target audience and how the mood-board reaches them), colors, and the mood-board it-self.
